Measuring and entering your stride length will provide you with a personalized record of the
distance you are walking. Pedometer information can be tracked by steps or by distance.
If you cannot compute steps over distance, enter an average stride length: 2.2 feet for women
and 2.5 feet for man or you can estimate stride length relative to your height
(females: height x .413 equals your stride length; males: height x .415 equals your stride length).
To be more accurate, you are encouraged to measure your own stride length.
